A scrumptiously EXQUISITE antique cabinet door salvaged from an 1800s farmhouse kitchen outside Springfield, Ohio is the setting for Ronda's lovely roses and ribbons motif with broken china mosaic center by her husband, Jack. We truly love doing these joint projects!
The ballet slipper motif is the lid of a vintage trinket dish, found at a yard sale in August, 2006 during Ronda's first visit to Michigan's Blue Water area, the Thumb, a trip that would change her life!
The individual roses in the background are from an Adderly teacup that did not survive her recent 400 mile move... well, it survived the MOVE, it didn't survive the unpacking.....
But that teacup is oh-so-lovely in this exquisite piece! Pink chintz outlines the center motif.
Truly a one-of-a-kind treasure!
The cabinet door is clad in several delicious layers of chippy old paint, all original patina, and has it's original rusty, crusty hardware still in place.
The rose-painted area is properly sealed with archival varnish, and signed. The piece will arrive ready to hang.
